We did a thing. 

        Mikey and I actually took a mini trip as I said we may in our previous blog. We spent the whole weekend in Santa Fe, New Mexico with our pup. We had lots of fun, I expect us to be back pretty soon. We ate at several places such as Maria's Mexican Kitchen, The Panty and much more. We visited the Botanical Garden, Cathedral Basilica of ST. Francis de Assisi, Santa Fe Railyard, the Santa Fe Farmers Market and much more. I highly recommend Meow Wolf to anyone going to the Santa Fe area. It was the most thrilling thing about our trip. Its great for all ages. If you haven't deleted me off snapchat yet then you know all about it! (Excuse my 40+ stories in 2 hours. Add me  @ecm041213) Santa Fe is the third oldest city in the United States creating lots of diverse culture.

2/13/18

         Today Mikey and I started plaining our weekend! He happens to have a few extra days off this "weekend" so we plan to go exploring. Since we haven't finalized any plans I'm squirming with ideas. I'm so excited we are going to get some time away before he leaves (as I mentioned in my last post.)  This weekend will be a late valentines/early anniversary get away since we will not be together for our first anniversary. 

   

        Also today, I found out one of my friends will probably coming to visit next month. Mikey and also found out its slightly possible we may be able to attend a friends wedding this summer! (And slightly is a big deal with the military.) A few months ago we found out it would probably be impossible to attend. Which STINKS, especially with us being the maid of honor and best man. 

         Mikey and I have both had a pretty awesome day today. I don't know if that's just how faith wanted it or because our day included fried chicken. Anyways thanks for keeping up with us.

         The Stringfield house had a pretty good day today. We did a little grocery shopping and now we are spending time in our natural habitat. Mikey's been playing ARK (a survival videogame). I have several furniture flips coming up in the next few weeks. I'm currently restoring a rocking chair. Mikey will be leaving for a few weeks soon. I have to find lots to keep me busy so I don't go crazy. If any of my friends or family back home want to explore New Mexico message me. I would love the company.

2/11/18 intro to us

        Mikey and I decided to make a blog for our friends and family to keep up with us. I think this is something we should have done sooner. There are so many experiences awaiting I want to share with everyone.

*About Our Happy Family*

      We currently live at Holloman AFB in New Mexico. We have a 2 year old lab mix named Persephone (pur-sef-any) and a cat named Bell/Bella. Mikey has been in the Air Force for a little over a year. I am in school for my psychology major. I babysit and repurpose curbside/yard sale furniture. We enjoy spoiling our fur babies, trying new experiences, cooking, watching football, and spending time together.
